"Gwyer Jacob Effects under Pounds 3,000 21 November (1867) Letters of Administration (with the Will annexed) of the Personal estate and effects of Jacob Gwyer late of Woodlands in the Parish of Downton in the County of Wilts Yeoman deceased who died 20 April 1851 at Woodfalls aforesaid left unadministered by Elizabeth Gwyer Widow the Relict and Charles Gwyer the Brother the Executors named in the said Will were granted at Salisbury to Henry Gwyer of Landford in the County aforesaid Farmer and Charles Gwyer of Newton Farm in the Parish of Whiteparish in the County aforesaid Farmer and the Sons and two of the Residuary Legatees substituted in the said Will and they having been first sworn. Former Grant Consistory Court of the Lord Bishop of Sarum September 1851".
